Meet Andy Bennett

Andy is the Director of Relocation Services who works closely with newcomers to relieve the stress of moving. Featured in Richmond Magazine's special edition, entitled Welcome, Inc. - A Guide to Corporate Relocation in Richmond, Andy says her "goal is to make Richmond more navigable for potential newcomers...I need to be able to provide every bit of information you would get from your mother."   After assessing the needs of each individual, she matches the client with an experienced Buyer's Agent to ensure that the home-buying experience is a smooth and pleasant one. She has been at Virginia Realty & Relocation for over 10 years.

Specialty: People and Community

As Relocation Director, Andy is a member of the Employee Relocation Council, the Greater Richmond Relocation Council, the Metro Chamber, the Virginia Economic Development Association, and the Richmond Human Resource Management Association.

Andy is also very active in her community.  She is on the Board of Directors of the Sheltering Arms Rehabilitation Hospital, continuing a 35-year, volunteer commitment to the Hospital.

A native of Richmond, Andy graduated from St. Catherine's Episcopal School and attended Salem College in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.  She graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology. Married for 37 years to a local environmental attorney, Andy and her husband have two grown children (Molly, 29--married to Mark, and Kent, 32-–married to Kate) who promise to use her services when they move back to the Richmond area after seeing and conquering the world.
